He is survived by: his wife Rose Quam; his children, Debbie Palo of Watertown, Dawn Thompson (Troy) of Watertown, Dennis Griffith of Tampa, Florida and Dena Edwards (Dan) of Vermillion; his sisters, Beverly Palmer (Ray) of Rapid City and Bonnie Jennings-Christiansen (Bill) of Sioux Falls; and his brother-in-law Jim Holen of Rapid City. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
