He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Johnson and Mary Johnson (Kruthoff); and his brother Douglas Johnson. He is survived by: his aunt Ella; his wife Joanne; his brothers, Bill Johnson (Mary), Ken Johnson (Jeanne) and Steve Johnson (Donna); his brothers-in-law, Duayne Singrey (Donna), Larry Singrey (Sara) and Stan Singrey (Teresa); and his mother-in-law Jeanette Singrey.
Dave's body was donated to The University of SD for Medical Research.
