We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2022, at the age of 83, Darwin Gerhard Giese of Watertown, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Giese and Minnie Giese (Beskow); his siblings, Darlene Kolb and Donald Giese; and his former wife Lois Mahlen Giese of Webster, SD..

He is survived by: his wife Janice Strege Barrett; his son Danny Giese (Vickie) of Watertown; his sister Vonnie Reilly (Mike) of Watertown; and his stepgranddaughter Chandler Rydberg (Jade Dailey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
