She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Pomeroy and Florence Pomeroy (Mortenson); and her husband David B. Young. She is survived by: her former husband Hubert Valberg; her children, Rick Valberg (Lori) and Roxie McElhany (Tim) of Watertown; her stepdaughter Michelle Baltzell (Pierre) of Aberdeen; her grandchildren, Ashley, Brady (Samantha), Daniel and Bryce (Monica); and her stepgrandchildren, Shyla and Jacob of Aberdeen. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. 2 sisters, 1 sister in law and 1 brother in law.
