Bernie left this world on December 10, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick X. Boadwine and Gladys L. Boadwine (Griffin); his brothers, Roger, Darwin and Randy Boadwine; his grandson Lucas Boadwine; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Birney and Mark Raasch.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna; his children, Nick Boadwine (Angie) and Madee Kusser (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Michael, Quinn, Sydney Boadwine, Logan, Taylor and Brody. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin's Lutheran Church (1200 2nd St NE, Watertown, SD 57201).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the family (Deanna) and they will distribute.
