The memory of Alvin Amy of Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Amy and Matilda Amy (Krause); his wife Kay Christofferson; and his siblings, Warren Amy (Lorraine), Glen Amy (Helen), Ace Amy, Donnie Amy (Connie) and Gladys Amy.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Amy of Watertown, SD, Lisa Amy of Watertown, SD, LeAnne Campbell (Cris) of Aberdeen, SD and Kelly Amy (Lisa) of Albuquerque, NM; and his siblings-in-law, Forrest Christofferson of Brooklyn Park, MN and Sandra Christofferson of Summit, SD. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford - Osthus Funeral Chapel (1311 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (202 2nd St SE, Watertown, SD 57201).
