He was predeceased by: his parents, Almon W. Johnson Sr. and Jennie Johnson (Holm); and his siblings, Kenneth, Donald (Buddy), Duane (Sonny), Robert (Bobby), Margaret and Barbara Jacobson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Wendy Olson (Matt) of Watertown, Kirk Johnson of Watertown and Kevin Johnson of Puerto Vallarta, MX.; and also, Nathan Olson, Andy Olson, Kody Johnson, Terry Amy, Brent Zimmerman and Jake Zimmerman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel (1111 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
