He is survived by: his wife Dawna Tavenpont; his children, Dahntay, Daniel, LaShaunta, Mariah, Richard Pumpkin Seed and Whitney Kindle; his grandson Myk; his aunts and uncles, Loretta Pumpkin Seed, Sylvia Shaw, Denver Pumpkin Seed and Verdell Long Soldier, Sr.; his siblings, Teresa Rademacher, Jackie Black Hawk, Joyce Bongo, Taylor Bongo, Wade Roubideaux and Roy Blue Legs; and his godchildren, J. Leighton and Orlando Black Hawk.
