She was predeceased by: her father Alfred High Horse; her husband Roger Red Elk; her children, Sharon Red Elk Pebeahsy and Waylon Red Elk, Sr.; her grandsons, Waylon Red Elk, Jr. and Dallas Red Elk; her great grandchild Akicita Rogers; and her mother Agnes High Horse (Between Lodges).

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Red Elk, Neil Red Elk, Eric Red Elk, Melinda Wilcox, Roger Red Elk, Jr. and Conway Red Elk; her siblings, Jerome High Horse (Hunka Brother Bryant High Horse) of Wanblee, Bernadine Sitting Holy, Anita Brown, Reva High Horse, Vina High Horse, Cherry High Horse and Elsie High Horse; and her brothers-in-law, Ernest Red Elk, Howard Red Elk and Calvin Red Elk. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.
