Leavitt of Wallace, South Dakota, born in Webster, South Dakota, whose life came to an end on August 24, 2024 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leavitt and Helen Leavitt (Jorgenson); his former wife Roxie West; and his brothers, Doug and Gary.

He is survived by: his wife Rosanna LaPine of Wallace, SD; his children, Ben Leavitt (Heidi) of Bellevue, NE, Lisa Homelvig of Sioux Falls, SD and Jane Leavitt (Jeff Meroney) of Watertown; his stepchildren, Dawn Rydberg, Leyla Hughey, Kiely Hughey and Aliesha Sonstebo (Mike) of Watertown; and his siblings, Terry Leavitt (Heidi), Lori Lambert (Rob) and Kris Schreiner (Dustin) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

All memorial funds will be used to continue the ministry of providing meals for the Salvation Army, Access Ministries, Christmas gifts for local children and Christmas food baskets.
