We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2020, at the age of 84, Richard Mauer of Wall, South Dakota, born in Bowman, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merle Mauer and Mildred Mauer (Waterhouse); his son Paul; his friend Award; his sons, Tony Mauer (Colonel) of St. Louis and John Mauer; his grandchildren, David Mauer (Brianne), Julie Mauer, Roman Mauer and Raquel Mauer Garder (Jeff); his great grandchild Matty Mauer; his sister Bonnie Mae Mauer Countryman of Moville, Iowa; his close friend Jean Hunter of Wall; and his sisters, Mary Ann Mauer Watson and Rose Marie Mauer Moorman. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
