She was predeceased by: her parents, John Guethlein and Emma Guethlein (Peterson); her husband Max W. Poste; her children, Bradley Gene Poste and Penelope June Penney; and her sisters, Helen Rittberger, Margorie Willuweit, Dorothy Burch and Maxine Smith.

She is survived by: her brother John "Jack" Guethlein of North Plate, NE; her children, Barry Poste (Terry) of Littleton, Randall Poste (Violeta) of Wall, Mark Poste (Darlene) of Rapid City and Tracy Seutter (Rick) of Peoria, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Michelle, Elizabeth, Danielle, Ashley, Sara, Chris, Cheryl, Jasmine, Renedel, Amanda and Kristina. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
