He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Kleinschmit and Shandon Kleinschmit (Wood); his wife Lola Kirkegaard of Wall; his son Nathan of Rapid City; his sister Luann Spence of El Dorado, KS; his niece Roxanne (Brad Cool) of El Dorado, KS; his son Lance Spence (Virginia) of Clarksville, AR; his grandchildren, Tanner, Paige Rodriguez (Alex) and Alicia Burg (Kyle); his son Gary Rupp (Karen) of Marcus, IA; his grandchildren, Sara Doup (Seth), Andy Rupp (Meagan) and Kristine Timmons (Kyle); his sister Mona Rae Sims of Phoenix, AZ; his brother-in-law Morris Kirkegaard (Debra) of Trent, SD; his niece Autumn Rice; his brother-in-law Don Kirkegaard (Lois) of Sturgis, SD; his nieces and nephews, Mat of Fargo, ND and Ashley Sullivan (Jack) of St. Paul, MN; his sister-in-law Sally Wiggins (Greg) of Monument, CO; his nieces, Amanda Wiggins of California and Angela Young (Rory) of California; and also Jimmie Sims of Tulsa, OK. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Center (501 Main St, Wall, SD 57790). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:00 PM.
