He is survived by: his wife Carol Hahn of Wall; his stepchildren, Mitch Richter (Julie) of Rapid City, Shannon Schaefers of Rapid City and Londa Richter of Rapid City; and his siblings, Dale Hahn (Kathy) of Minneapolis and Arleen Bietz (Dwight) of Scotland. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
