He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace H. "Stub" Beatty and Esther Beatty (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Sarah Beatty Carlson of Sioux Falls, SD and Megan Whalen (Matt); his grandchildren, Carson of Owatonna, MN, Cooper of Owatonna, MN and Brecken of Owatonna, MN; his son Christopher Beatty of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sister Cheryl Nagy (Bob) of Yankton, SD..

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to direct memorials to a local church of your choice.
