With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Lovejoy of Wakonda, South Dakota, born in Centerville, South Dakota, who passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwyn "Bud" and Elvera Knutson (Johnson); and her sister Virginia "Ginny" Christensen (Ardell). She is survived by: her children, Michael (Connie) of Wakonda, Joseph (Kim) of Newcastle, WY and Sherrie Petersen (Aaron) of Beresford; and her siblings, Kermit Knutson (Arnetta) of Irene, SD, Arlene Zoeller of Sioux Falls, SD, Bonnie Seitzinger (Frank) of Dakota Dunes, SD and Marice "Micy" Highstreet (Cliff) of Hurley, SD.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Her last projects were face masks to protect during the pandemic.
