She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Haeuszer and Bertha Haeuszer (Permann); her husband Kenneth A. Peterson; and her siblings, Gotthilf, Vernon, Artena Smith and Erma Nedved.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth E. Peterson (Debbie) of Sturgis, Patricia Thompson of Yankton and Karen Carpenter (Joe McDonald) of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Curtis Lunn, Ryan Lunn, Chris Carpenter, Chad Carpenter, Danny Tobias, Miguel Tobias and Melissa Hansen; and her brother Floyd Haeuszer (Lois) of Cannon Falls, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
