He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph O. Novak and Rose E. Novak (Cihak); his siblings, Arlene Siebrand (Buck), Betty Christensen (Chris), Sylvia Foster (Charles) and James Novak; his nieces, Terry Ulsh and Janell Novak; and his nephew Mitch Robbennolt.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie M. Robbennolt; his children, Michael E. Novak (Jan) of Colona, IL, Norena Novak of Minneapolis, MN, Patrick Novak (Sharie) of New Ulm, MN, Marilyn Early (Brian) of Livermore, CA and Melanie Novak of Wagner; his grandchildren, Angela Jensen, Daniel Novak, Ryan Novak and Thomas Novak (Mary); his great grandchildren, Ella Rose Jensen, Abigail Grace Jensen and Rhett Patrick Novak; and his brother Edward N. Novak (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
