She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Beeson and Grace Beeson (Sell); her husband Richard Kafka (Dick); her son Tom; her siblings, Ann Kafka Schmuck, Thomas (Alice), Delbert (Arlene), Bob, Buster, Richard (Darlene) and Francis; and her in-laws, Bob Kafka (Candy) and Bill Kafka.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Roberta) of Gregory, Dan (Arlis) of Wagner, Jeff (Brynn) of Wentworth, Ron (Lynda) of Wagner, Lisa Mandl (Del) of Lincoln, NE, Jerry (Sherrie) of Marion, Julie Powers (Stacey) of Avon, Jay (Kim) of Wagner and Joe (Kristi) of Wagner; her siblings, Larry (Sylvia) of Wagner and Irene Mullen (Jim) of Lake Kiowa, TX.; her in-laws, Donna Beeson of Sequim, WA, Bev Beeson of Yankton, JoAnn Beeson of Wagner and Delores Kafka of Yankton; and her daughter-in-law Vanessa of Mitchell, SD.. She is also survived by her 31 grandchildren, her 33 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Church (416 Haines St, Dante, SD 57329). A wake was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
