He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Cozad and Mary Cozad (Kranig); his siblings, Gerald Cozad, Marie Cournoyer, Margaret Donner, Ada Bendtsen and Nel Beeson; and his great grandchild Immaculee Kuhlman (Irene Slaba).
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo Kuhlman (Tom) of Wagner and Rodney Cozad of Wagner; and his grandchildren, Kelly Schroeder (Ben) of Nolensville, TN, Kim Kafka (Jay) of Wagner, SD, Jeffrey Kuhlman (Rhonda) of Wagner, SD and Jason Kuhlman (Lindsey) of Wagner, SD. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; along with many nieces and nephews.
