It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Gene Madsen of Volin, South Dakota, born in Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer Madsen and Helen Madsen (Yakabowski); his wife Kathy of Volin; his children, Sheri Oullette (Alan) of Vermillion and Robert Madsen (Tami) of Volin; his sister Kathy Feeldy (Steve) of Mitchell, SD; his sister-in-law Patricia Wegner of Gilbert, AZ.; his grandchildren, Ashley Smith (Justin) of Akron, IA, Abby Guggisberg (Nathan) of Baltic, SD, Tyler Madsen of Volin, Matthew Ouellette of Sioux Falls, SD and Kaci Madsen of Huntington Beach, CA.; and his great grandchildren, Camden, Brooks and Dakota Smith. He was also cherished by his family, friends.
