He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hazen and Alma Hazen (Larson). He is survived by: his wife Lois Vennard; his children, Justin, James and Jessica; and his sister Sophie Merrigan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hansen Funeral Home - Irene (121 E Main St, Irene, SD 57037). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Volin Cemetery.
