He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Burgers; his parents, Jake Post and Cora Post; his father-in-law Hank Burgers (Tena); and his sister-in-law Debra Post.
He is survived by: his daughter Shana Skortz; his grandchildren, Trevor Skortz and Bianca Skortz; his great grandchildren, Taelor of Wisconsin and Travis Skortz of Wisconsin; his siblings, Betty Halde (James) of Sioux Falls, Marvin Post (Joyce) of Volga, Sylvia Misar of Oldham, Robert Post of Ramona, Joan Olson (Robert) of Sinai, Carol Bolstad (Greg) of Sinai, Dave Post (Mary) of Volga and Dennis Post (Kerry) of Sinai; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Burgers and Marlene Knox (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
