He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sterud and Anna Sterud (Peterson); his siblings, Melvin Pierce, Howard and Faith; his sons, Lee and Dick O'Dean; and his granddaughter Amber Lee Moad.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Kay (Holm); his daughters, Darla (Ratajczak) of Sioux Falls, SD and Becky Williamson (Chad) of Montevideo, MN; his siblings, Donna (Loyd), Stanley, Juanita (Smith) and Dorothy (Granum); and his grandchildren, Kalyn, Samantha, Thomas, Lyndsi, Crystal and Lane. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
