Elsie Blase Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elsie Blase of Volga, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Patrick and Margaret Patrick (McGraw); her husband Marvin G. Blase; and her sister Mary Jane Tims (Arthur). She is survived by: her children, Nancy Rexwinkel (Greg) of Lincoln, NE and Scott Blase (Deb) of Volga, SD; her grandchildren, Erin Allen (Ashley), Derek Blase, Jill Riekhof (Wayne), Tom Rexwinkel (Steph) and Dan Rexwinkel; and her great grandchildren, Abbey, Ainsley, Audrey Allen, Madysen Brewer (Shannon Rebelein), Rowan Blase, Deacon, Harris Fellers, Sadie Rexwinkel, Holden and Lucy Riekhof.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Eidsness Funeral Home (1617 Orchard Dr, Brookings, SD 57006). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
