He was predeceased by: his parents, S. E. "Finnie" Buck and Sadie Buck (Schamens); his daughter Amber Marquardt (Scott) of Montevideo, MN; and his siblings, Donald Buck (Jean), Charlotte Kays (Earl), Doris Knadle (Gene) and Fern Johnson (James).

He is survived by: his wife Rozann Buck of Vienna; his sons, Wade Buck (Nikki) of Carthage, SD and Bret Buck (MarJoan) of Bryant, SD; his grandchildren, Cassi Paulson (Dustin), Tehya Griffith (Brent), Riley Buck (Ali), Brady Buck (Ellie), Cody Buck, Abby Marquardt and Annie Marquardt; his stepgrandchild Maddie Richards; his great grandchildren, Claire, Kate Paulson, Edyn, Talan Griffith, Brigham and Evelynn Buck; his siblings, Jerry Buck (Renee) of Bryant, SD and Sandy Gregg (Bill) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Froke (Denise) of Watertown and Jackie Froke of Watertown.

Memorials may be designated to Prairie Lakes Hospice in Watertown and South Dakota Parkinson Foundation.
