He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Heki and Eveyln Heki (Kinsley); his wife Christine; his brother Jim Heki; and his grandchildren, Lisa Marie and Jasper.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Heki of Salina, KS, Christina Heki of Charlotte, TX and Christopher Heki of Salina, KS; his stepchildren, Michael Cowart (Lois) of Las Vegas, NV and Katherine Nurnberg (Russ) of Watertown, SD; and his siblings, Glenn Heki (Georgia) of Henderson, NV, Kathleen Rhyne (Jim) of Modesto, CA and Lisa Heki (Robert Hickok) of Reno, NV. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
