It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waldo Petersen of Viborg, South Dakota, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Nielsen and Tillie Nielsen (Hansen); her husband Robert Petersen; her son Charles; and her brother Norman "Bud" Nielsen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan and Lois Wirth (Mike) of Viborg; her grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) and Adam (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Roy, Christopher, Justin, Adam Jr., James and Ryker; her close friends, Tim, Tam Sorensen, Laura (Aaron), Matt (Michelle), Heather (Carter), Travis, Riley, Kendra, Troy, Braxton, Chloe, Ellie and Knoxon; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene (Judy), Glennys, Arlyce and Dianne (Ted).
