It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Larsen of Viborg, South Dakota, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Larsen and Vincent Larsen; his brother Duane Larsen (Dottie); his brothers-in-law, Laverne (Christine), Lester, Dale, Kenny and Willis (Marcene Scott); and his nephews, Don Larsen, Kevin Lehmann and Tom Lehmann.
He is survived by: his wife Vernelle Lehmann; his children, Kathy Flyger, Karen Larsen, Laurie Peterson (Alan) and Larry Larsen (Julie); his grandchildren, Michelle Jahn (Pete), Teresa Parlet (Jeff), Fred Aaron Flyger (Kacey), Amanda McGhee (Casey), Adam Peterson (Traci), Jordan Larsen, Payton Larsen and Alisa Larsen; his great grandchildren, Hunter Parlet, Morgan, Isabel Dzwonek, Kyler, Micah, Zarin, Afton, Braxon Reis-Flyger, Alexa, Aubree, Gunner, Alivia McGhee, Miley and Paislee Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Lehmann and Joyce Lehmann.
Due to COVID-19, masks are recommended but not required.
