Ted Schaeffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted Schaeffer of Viborg, South Dakota, who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schaeffer and Emma Schaeffer (Bender); his wife Mildred Muhmel; his sons-in-law, Joe Thomas and John Dickson; and his siblings, Ray, Ervin, Walter, Edgar, Augusta, Alitha, Olinda, Clara and Frieda.
He is survived by: his children, Roger (Deb), Bruce (Helen), Bryan (Gwen), Linda Schaeffer, Carol Thomas and Donna Dickson; his siblings, Leroy (Nancy) and Arlene Haase (Vern); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Muhmel and Donna Schaeffer. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be directed to the Rosehill Cemetery Association.
