Palmer Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2023, at the age of 98, Palmer Peterson of Viborg, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Peterson and Marie Peterson; his wife Marjorie Kienast Peterson; his brothers, J. Merle and Herb Peterson; his siblings-in-law, Alphie Peterson, Margaret Peterson, Lee Nelson and Elwood Paulsen; and his grandson Nicholas Peterson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Jensen, Betty Mayer (Mark), Becky Zirpel (Jim) and Bernice Peterson; his sister Gladys Paulsen; his grandchildren, Rachel Turner (Erik), Rebecca Parish (Don), Aaron Mayer (Rachel), Alison Waltz (Lucas) and Joshua Peterson (Alyssa); and his great grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Avery Turner, Michael, Jaiden, Kylee Parish, Lydia and Lauren Waltz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Daneville Museum of Viborg, Rose Hill Cemetery of Viborg or the American Legion Arrangements provided by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home.
