She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Muhmel and Anna Muhmel (Mutschelknaus); her stepmother Minnie Muhmel; her siblings, Ethel Magstadt (Elmer), Charlotte Pankratz (Harold) and Floyd Muhmel; and her sons-in-law, Joe Thomas and John Dickson.
She is survived by: her husband Theodore R. Schaeffer; her children, Linda Schaeffer, Carol Thomas, Donna Dickson, Roger (Deb), Bruce (Helen) and Bryan (Gwen); her sister Donna Muhmel; and her siblings-in-law, Elda Schaeffer, Arlene Haase (Vern), Donna Schaeffer and LeRoy Schaeffer (Nancy). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial may be directed to the family for a project at the Rosehill Cemetery.
