It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Christensen (Viborg, South Dakota), who passed away on May 10, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Christensen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stern and Martha Stern (Tornow); her husband Donald E Christensen; and her son David. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Wirth (Richard) and Dawn Makram (Sam).

After a fire at their farm near Turkey Ridge, she resided in Viborg until being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and moving to Sioux Falls.
