She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Johanna; her son Tom (Sue) of Aberdeen; and her grandson Ryan Helling. She is survived by: her husband Melbourne Helling; her son Paul (Pam) of Northville; her granddaughter Mary; her children, Mike (Clare) of Sioux Falls and Mary Dunlap (Ed) of Tea; and her grandchildren, Matt Helling (Erin), Jenny Hansen, Bekka Helling, Ali Bolger (Rob), Jill Boden (Larry), Abby Bryce (Ben), Lance Dunlap (Jenny), Sam Helling (Samantha) and Erika Heisel (Josh).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to "Lutheran World Relief" or "Main Street Living" of Sioux Falls.
