With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Rist of Viborg, South Dakota, born in Dell Rapids, South Dakota, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Rist to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Molskness and Elvira Molskness (Gullickson); her husband Jim; her siblings, Marilyn Ponnikas (Cliff Ponnikas), Bob Molskness and Carolyn Kirinicich; her brother-in-law Cliff Ponnikas; and her nephew Kai Ponnikas.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert "Bobby" and Bestemor; her children, Cindy Klick (Don) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Charee Housiaux (Jim) and Jim Rist (Tammy) of Lakewood, CO; her grandchildren, Alan Anderson (Laura) of Parker, CO, Brad Anderson (Kathleen) of Littleton, CO, Matt Housiaux (Taylor Garris), DC of Washington, Katie Housiaux, Amanda Rist and Brianna Rist; her great grandchildren, Ziah, David, Leif and Solveig Anderson; her siblings-in-law, DeAnn Molskness and Nick Kirincich of Fishers, IN; and also, Gustav and May. She is also survived by her siblings, aunts, uncles and more than 50 first cousins, nine nieces and nephews, many first cousins and countless friends and neighbors.
