It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alden Robert Christensen of Viborg, South Dakota, who passed away on October 4, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris and Sena Christensen (Madsen); and his wife Janet Loney. He is survived by: his children, Robert Christensen (Sue) of Brandon, SD and Brenda Christensen (Dave Townsend) of Sherman, SD; his grandchildren, Laura Townsend (Bobby Pickett) of Freeman, SD, Alyssa Christensen of Lincoln, NE and Abby Christensen of Chicago, IL; his great grandchildren, Brantley and Braxton Pickett; and his siblings, Kilmer Christensen (Darlene) of Viborg, SD and Shirley Korsmo of Escondido, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
