It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zachary Adam Barta (Vermillion, South Dakota), born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on August 7, 2019, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dale and Phyllis Horlyk; his great-grandparents, Margaret Schmidt, Robert and Vivian Barta; and his cousin Bryce Huether.
He is survived by: his parents, Brent Barta and Sara Barta (Horlyk); his daughter Zoey Barta; his brother Trey Barta of Yankton; his grandparents, Bob and Pam Barta of Gayville, SD; his aunts and uncles, Emily Dimmer (Eric) of Gayville, Heidi Getman (Cregg) of Beresford, Shelly Jorgensen (Paul) of Texas, Sherry Haas (Mike) of Beresford, Sam Anderson (Stu) of Yankton, Delrae Wuebben (Steve) of Gayville, Tabby Juttelstad of Gayville, Tammy Huether of Irene, Bill Huether (Robin) of Viborg and Tom Huether of Volin; and also Samantha Smith of Yankton. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
