We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2023, at the age of 74, William H. Kennedy (Vermillion, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Kennedy and Wilma Kennedy; his brother-in-law Jim Loiseau; and his parents-in-law, James and Frances Loiseau.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Loiseau; his children, Jim Kennedy (Becky) of Denver, CO., Will Kennedy (Shari) of Vermillion, SD and Ellen Kennedy (Will Richter) of Greenville, SC; and his sister Mary Strasser (Ken) of Salida, CO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations specified for the Clay County Rodeo Grounds (in care of the Clay County Park Board), or the Heartland Humane Society in Yankton, SD to honor his love of dogs and Benson, his therapy cat.
