He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Davis and Bertram Davis; his son Michael Allen; his former wife Phyllis Joan Fueston of Vermillion; his stepfather Ed Johnson; and his siblings, Floyd Davis, Doris Jensen and Phyllis Solem.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice "Bunny" Cameron of Sioux Falls; his daughter Deborah Harkema (Ron); his grandchildren, Nicole Harkema (Bill), Kale Harkema (Kristin), Debbie Jo Davis and Lisa Ericson; and his great grandchildren, Cierra, Kiara, Kerigan, Jahsh, Jakob, Lukas and Asher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Walt's honor.
