He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Taggart and Gertrude Taggart (Brennan); his siblings, Jane (Frank Sailors), Joan (Kenneth DeVries) and Thomas; and his sister-in-law Ady Taggart.
He is survived by: his wife Madalen Leonard of Vermillion; his children, Thomas Taggart (Sarah) of Vermillion, Timothy Taggart (Becky Anglin) of Vermillion and Tara Taggart; his grandchildren, Travis Taggart (Gabi), Jeff Anglin (Sidney), Kyle, Mason Pickett, Sophia, Anneliese, Elaina and Taryn Taggart; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Paityn Taggart and Willow Anglin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the St. Agnes Catholic School.
