He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Karl Holmes (Brandy) of Blairstown, IA and Elizabeth Johnson (Christopher) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Ashley Holmes (Taylor Rommann) of Walker, IA, Paige Halsor (Samuel) of Ottumwa, IA, Alexandra and Zachary Johnson of Minneapolis, MN; his great grandchildren, Dawson Karl Jones and Hayden Matthew Halsor; and his sister Shirley Girard of Vermillion. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
