He was predeceased by: his parents, Verner Sorensen and Marlo Sorensen (Mortensen); his brother Jim; and his siblings-in-law, Mariella and Maurice Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his daughter Suzanne Rozell (Kent); his grandchildren, Kayla (Oscar), Kendal (Kinzie) and Kaleb; his son Matt Sorensen (Kasey); his grandchildren, Grace, Eric and Levi; his great grandchildren, Liam and Brooklyn; and his siblings, Eleanor Nelson and Marvin Sorensen (Coolie). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
