She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ruelle and Madge Ruelle (Kuzee); her son Brett; and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her former husband Douglas Gene Bye; her husband Doug; her daughter Kirste Schindler (Todd) of Oacoma, SD; her grandchildren, Colin and Kelsey; her son Brook Bye (Shelly) of Vermillion; her grandchildren, Brittany, Jenny, Lizzy, Emily, Brett, Sloan and Brynlee; her daughter Kelly Barbier of Rapid City, SD; her grandchildren, Rollie, Regann and Braden; and her siblings, Barbara Jensen of Beloit, WI and Dick Ruelle (Jan) of Mesa, AZ..

In lieu of flowers, the family askes that donations go to the Bergen Lutheran Church or the Siouxland Humane Society.
