He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roger Girard and Dennis Girard; and his granddaughter Peyton. He is survived by: his sons, Ken and Mike; his wife Patricia Girard of Wakonda; his child Carmen Giles (Scott) of Brandon, SD; his grandchildren, Brady, Easton and Paisley; his son Kenneth Girard (Sarah Vaith) of Wakonda, SD; his grandchildren, Ben, Natalie and Brooke; his son Michael Girard (Kasandra Dillon) of Irene, SD; his grandchildren, Micah, Walker and Grace; and his brother Leonard Girard (Pat) of Vermillion. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and countless friends.
