It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marianne L Jepsen (Vermillion, South Dakota), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Brandwein and Margarete Brandwein (Opitz); her husband Gerald; her daughter Kathleen Husby; her brother Edward Brandwein; her sister-in-law Erna Brandwein; her parents-in-law, Anna Jepsen (Andersen) and Magnus Jepsen; and her siblings-in-law, Sanna Iverson (Jepsen) and Marlowe Iverson.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Kimble (Stephen), Scott Jepsen (Jeanne) and Robin Bush (Tom); her grandchildren, Brian Kimble (Kandice), Keisha Dokken (Gregg), Brandon Kimble (Melissa), Garrett Jepsen, Tyler Husby (Emily), Shannon Jepsen, Jack Bush (Lauren) and Anna Bush; and her great grandchildren, Etta Kimble, Britta and Maya Dokken. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Danish Lutheran Cemetery, Vermillion UCC Congregational Church Loaves and Fishes Fund, or a charity of your choice.
