She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Peterson and Gertrude Peterson (Viking); her husband Marvin L Swee; and her children, Bryan and Suzanne.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Swee (Claudia) of Omaha, NE and Bradley Swee (Linda) of Vermillion, SD; her grandchildren, Trisha Rasmussen (Mike) of Elk Point, SD, Wesley Swee (Kendra) of St. James, MO, Wendy Anstine (Kevin) of Dell Rapids, SD, Nicholas Swee (Lucy) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Mitchell Swee (Candice) of Columbia, MO; her great grandchildren, Jade, Harper Anstine, Regan, Kenley Rasmussen, Oliver, Collin and Lorelei Swee; and her siblings, Carol Carlson of Beresford, SD and Robert Peterson of St. Paul, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Union County 4-H, or Trinity Lutheran Church Women's Group of Vermillion.
