It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd O. Rowland of Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his uncle Marvin Ludtke; his former wife Anita Beth Knudson; his aunt Ida; his siblings, Bernard and Marlene VanDenBerg; his uncles, Laurence and Roy Ludtke; and his cousin Julane Sorenson.
He is survived by: his former wife Delores Anderson; his wife Grace Williams Bick; his former wife Dee; his daughters, Suzanne Yvonne Gillette (Alan), Roxanne Rae (Hugh), Rhonda Marie (James) and Jacqueline Kay Tschetter (Greg Olsen) of Huron, SD; his siblings, Lester (Loxie) of Wentworth, SD and Gayle Naessig of Newark, OH; his aunt Dolly Ludtke; his cousins, Kathryn Ludtke Khajah, Rolfh Ludtke and Gretchen Syhre; his grandchildren, Jeramie Childress (Christy), Marie Lackey (Ronald), Vanessa Poteet (Roger), Christopher Gillette (Dana), Cody Gillette (Brittany), Ashley Lambert, Patrick, Jacob Rice, Kassidy Boutwell (Brett) and Ronald Diegan III (Melissa Upchurch); and his stepchildren, Charlotte Fredricksen, Alice Hahn, Alan, Kip Gilette, Ron Ross (Kazy), Leo Ross (Susan) and Valorie Hilde (Chad). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
