It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Bottolfson of Vermillion, South Dakota, born in Meckling, South Dakota, who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bottolfson and Esther Bottolfson (Kilness); his siblings, Richard, Russell and Lois Kryger; and his brothers-in-law, Marion Kryger and Gary Souhrada.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Rhonda Landy (Tom), Dr. Diane Bottolfson (Bruce Prouse), Julie Prasek (Cullen) and Michael Bottolfson (Erica); his siblings, Julie Nelson (David), Gary Bottolfson (Mary Chicoine), Beverly Bottolfson and Larry Bottolfson (Nita); his sisters-in-law, Darlene Bottolfson and Eileen Bottolfson; his grandchildren, Melissa, Elizabeth Landy, Mary, Anne, Grace Prouse, Kayla Prasek, Mallory Zietz (Cory), Cameron, Chloe and Adalyn Bottolfson; and his great grandchild Avery Zietz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
