James Sorensen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sorensen of Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Sorensen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mariella Sorensen (Dunn); his parents, Verner Sorensen and Marlo Sorensen (Mortensen); and his brothers-in-law, Maurice Nelson, Brian Dunn and James Cowles.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Sorensen (Amy) of Sioux Falls, Tim Sorensen (Amy) of Vermillion, Carol Miiller (James) of Ethan and Karen Sorensen (Adam) of Vermillion; his grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Nick, Sam, Wyatt, Hunter and Kate; and his siblings, Eleanor Nelson of Gayville, Marvin Sorensen of Sioux City and Richard Sorensen of Vermillion. He is also survived by many Brother-in-laws, Sister-in-Laws, nieces, nephews and close friends.
