He is survived by: his wife Ann Stewart (Eide); his children, Christine Bruning (Steve) of Sioux Falls, SD and Mitchell Stewart (Kelly) of Indianapolis, IN.; his grandchildren, Michael Bruning (Dominique) of Los Angeles, CA, Ben Bruning of Sioux Falls, SD and Maxine Stewart of Indianapolis, IN.; his sister Mary Jo Salzman (Stewart) of Elkton, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Jackie, Jeff and Jason Salzman.
